Consists of correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports documenting the charter members responsible for drafting the club’s constitution. It also includes information on the following: the lunch program at St. James High, marching band uniforms, water coolers at schools, playground equipment, Easter dance, summer music program, membership rosters, athletic club at St. James High, football games, Christmas decorations, New Year’s Eve dance and raffle, teachers and janitors, lack of qualified librarians for the school, school buses, principal’s house, washing machine for athletic department, weed control and drainage, youth softball teams, valedictory award, banquets, cooling fans, enforcement by Police Jury of laws against riding bicycles on sidewalks, CYO team transportation, football players’ insurance, speed limits for automobiles, transportation to Nicholls Jr. College, printing of Homecoming programs, basketball uniforms, Fathers’ Club checks, and children’s’ eye examinations.
