Biographical / Historical
Joachim Badeaux began a grocery business in Thibodaux, Louisiana, which under the management of his son Edward became Badeaux's Wholesale Tobacco and Candy Store. In 1890 the name was changed to the Edward Badeaux Co. The storefront faced Main Street at West 3rd Street in Thibodaux.
