Scope and Contents
This collection comprises a booklet titled "The South of Today" and an accopmanying letter. The booklet contains extracts from an address delivered by R. S. Hecht (President of Hibernia Bank and Trust Co.) to the National Convention of the American Institute of Banking in 1919. The letter indicates that the booklet was sent by F. W. Ellsworth, Vice President of Hibernia Bank, to to T. J. Carroll, President of the State Bank of Merryville, La.
