Biographical Note
Philip D. Uzee was a professor of economics and history at Nicholls State University from 1953 to the 1970s, when he became Nicholls' first University Archivist. Prior to joining the Nicholls faculty he taught at McNeese Junior College and in the Lafourche Parish school system. In 1955 he married Nicholls State librarian Yvonne Toups.
