Jeanne Delas Gremillion Collection of Emmanuel Chol Family Papers
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of the papers of Emmanuel Chol and the Chol family of France and Louisiana. The collection comprises two series: Music and Family Papers. The Music series includes the music library of the Emmanuel Chol family, including original compositions and arrangements by Emmanuel Chol and his daughter Chothilde Chol. The Family Papers series includes correspondence, school assignments, report cards, receipts, genealogy research, passports, certificates (birth, baptism, and first communion), obituaries and death notices, mass schedules, music lessons, music, poetry, patents, cards, financial materials, notes, ledgers, printed materials, photographs, and ephemera.
