Biographical / Historical
Elbert Gaudet Sr., was born January 20, 1921 to Lovincy Louis Gaudet (L.L. Gaudet) and Velma Toups Gaudet. His parents started Acadia Dairy. He grew up on Narrow Street in Thibodaux. He married Majorie Clement, who was from the St. John, Labadieville area. He became a service manager at Auto Home Buick Co., and he retired from there in 1984. Elbert Gaudet Sr. passed away July 3, 1998.
