Manuscript entitled "Iwo" written by Lt. Allen Barrett
In this manuscript, he relates his experiences with some men of "B" Company, 1st Battalnon, 26th Marine Regiment of the Fifth Marine Division. Allen Barrett and Roland Chiasson were close friends after the war, and both communicated heavily with each other. Allen Barrett lived in Baltimore, Maryland at the time he wrote this manuscript of Iwo.
