This collection contains photographs of towns and people in Assumption Parish during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, programs, booklets, correspondence, tockens, surveys and newspaper clippings. It includes a masters thesis by Linda French Mariz (1973), a diary kept by Eliza Lofton Pugh from 1863-1864, a biography of Samuel Anatole Alleman who served as Assumption Parish Superintendent of Schools 1905-1947, and "History of the Town of Napoleonville" by Sam F. Gilbert.
