It comprises records of the activities of the Lafourche Parish Police Jury, including correspondence, memoranda, clippings, reports, surveys, resolutions, acts, lists, financial information, minutes, plans, and ephemera. The records concern public heath, flood control, utilities, local businesses, schools, and other parish matters.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of centennial materials, pictures, and company histories relating to the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department. Materials date from 1888 to 1987 and include original and reproduced photographs, booklets, programs, correspondence, organizational records, and ephemera. Most pictures are twentieth century reproductions of earlier photographs.
