This collection contains letters and correspondence from the time period of the American Revolution, legal contract, last will and testament, speeches by president of Louisiana State University, John Hunter, bond certificate, and program for Charles Elkins retirement from Nicholls State College (later known as Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, La.). Includes a State of Louisiana bond dated 1883 and Writ of Fieri Facias for a slave dated 1827.
