This collection contains materials from Lloyd Meyer's father and uncle respectively, Dr. A.J. Meyer and Dr. Louis E. Meyer, who were co-owners of Meyer's Drug Store in Thibodaux, La. It includes correspondence, postcards, constitutions and bylaws, photographs, scrapbooks, pedigree charts, genealogy, birth records, marriage records, death records, magazines, newspapers, newspaper clippings, local history, medals, account ledgers for Meyer's Drug Store and Thibodaux Oyster Packing and Ice Company, physician's lists and medical booklets for the two doctors, invitations, brochures, excerpts on local history, school grades for Lloyd Meyer while attending Spring Hill College in Alabama, diplomas, graduation programs, excerpts of census records, first communion and general prayer cards, receipts and invoices, religious books, maps, music scores, and stock certificates.
