Biographical Note
Maurice Braud, Jr served in the United States Army during World War II. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge and the Allied liberation of Europe, including that of the town of Liege, France. Braud was taken prisoner on December 25th, 1944, and was held at Stalag XII (Limburg), Stargard, and Stalag Luft 1 (Barth, Germany) prior to his liberation in 1945.
