This collection contains pedigree and lineage charts, family group sheets, family history excerpts, a picture book, stamp collection, census and militia lists, correspondence, and issues of Terrebonne Magazine. It includes newspaper clippings and baptismal, marriage, and death certificates.

Biographical Note
Godfrey James Olivier was born 6 May 1928 in Houma, La. to David J. Olivier and Esther A. Beadle. A member of the Terrebonne Genealogical Society, Olivier researched his family tree as far back as the seventeenth century and shared it with the Society. Upon Olivier's death in 2005, Nancy L. Wright compiled his family tree into bound volumes.
