Genealogy

This collection consists of genealogical research materials (notes, charts, copies of original documents, and excerpts of published materials), certificates, and photographs pertaining to the Daspit de St. Amant Family of Louisiana, their descendants, and families related by marriage.

This collection consists of six genealogical charts tracing the descendants of Jean Gaudet (b. 1575) in France, Canada, and the United States. Many descendants lived in Lafourche Parish and surrounding areas in south Louisiana.

This collection contains pedigree and lineage charts, family group sheets, family history excerpts, a picture book, stamp collection, census and militia lists, correspondence, and issues of Terrebonne Magazine. It includes newspaper clippings and baptismal, marriage, and death certificates.

This collection comprises original death notices from Lafourche and Assumption Parishes, along with genealogical research materials, manuscripts, and one book.
