This collection consists of photographs, slides, letters, cards, invitations, sketches, books, lists, clippings, wood prints, ephemera, and one scrapbook relating to the career and personal life of Lula Ameen. These include materials relating to her career as an art teacher and professor, her personal artwork, her travels, and her family and friends.

Microfilm copies of two scrapbooks kept by Judge William Whitmell Pugh Martin dating from 1917-1929. The scrapbooks contain newspaper and congressional record clippings, correspondence, and typescripts of speeches relating to the political career of William Whitmell Pugh Martin.

This collection covers one linear ft. and spans 1881-1966 with the bulk of material dating 1890-1911. It includes two scrapbooks which were inherited by Paul E. Richard from his father. They contain newspaper clippings, obituaries, and wedding announcements. The bulk of the scrapbooks’ content pertains to news on local events, family, and friends, but several newspaper clippings also document national news.
