Scope and Contents This collection consists of the records of the Lafourche Heritage Society. It includes a constitution, bylaws, correspondence, membership information, financial documents (bills, receipts, and bank statements), newsletters, legal documents, meeting minutes, notes, printed materials, publication manuscripts, surveys, interviews, essays, invitations, book jackets, scrapbooks, photographs, slides, cassette tapes, floppy disks, and ephemera. Scope and Contents This collection dates from 1959 to 2000 and spans 21 linear feet, comprising materials relating to the activities of the Bayou Lafourche Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.). The collection is divided into eight series: Yearbooks, Pressbooks, Yearbooks, Meeting Minutes, Papers, Photographs, Printed Materials, and Coushatta American Indian Crafts. Scope and Contents

This collection covers 1.5 linear feet and consists of materials relating to the production of Lafourche: Fork of the Mississippi, a documentary on the history and industries of Bayou Lafourche. Materials were created around the time of the film's production in 1979 and consist of narration scripts and photographic prints. Images include Madewood plantation house, steamboats, and a sugar mill.
